Margaret Perreault, aged 95, passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital on Friday, September 4, 2026.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, September 23rd at 2:00 pm at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodière Blvd.

MARGARET PERREAULT

Margaret Perreault, age 95, passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital on Friday, September 4th, 2026.

Née Marguerite Grenier, Margaret was the only child of Aurore Gauthier and Émile Grenier. In 1969, she married Eugene Perreault. They spent 51 years together, leading a quiet, happy life. Eugene passed away in 2019.

Kind and thoughtful, Margaret was a voracious reader and a spiritual woman who practiced the art of Reiki. In 2023, she moved to Résidence Despins in St. Boniface, where she made a number of friends.

Mille mercis to the outstanding staff at Despins for taking such good care of Margaret these past three and one-half years.

Thanks to the staff on 5S at the Grace Hospital for their care and compassion during her stay.

Thanks to Rachel for her book exchanges, phone calls, and the very special bond she had with Margaret.

Thanks to Dave and Odette for being such fantastic neighbours and friends who visited Margaret regularly and always made sure she was OK when she lived in the house, and continued to faithfully visit her at Despins.
