It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Arthur Hennig surrounded by his family on September 9, 2026, at the age of 84.
Dad’s life changed on March 15, 2023, due to a life changing stroke. The last 3 ½ years were filled with challenges that impacted his daily life. He is now with the Lord and reunited with his beloved wife (Rose), his sister (Ruth), his parents and many loved ones.
Art was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rose (2010). Survived by his son Peter and daughter Anita; grandchildren, Rielle and Katelyn, brother in-law Ed (Helga), sister Alice, niece Karen (Glenn), nephew James (Juanita), cousin Horst, along with many nephews, nieces, family members and friends.
Funeral will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Friends Funeral Service 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg, with viewing at 10:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception. Interment will take place at Whiteshell Baptist Cemetery.
