It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mom, sister, tetka and baba on September 10, 2026 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 85 years.
Anda is survived by her loving husband Damjan, beloved sons, Zoran and Radovan, sister Smilja, niece who was like a daughter to her Nancy (Don), nephew Mark and grandchildren, Angelina and Micheal as well as many family members back home. She was predeceased by her parents and sisters and brothers.
Anda was born on November 21, 1940 in Serbia. Anda and her husband and sons came to Canada and built a great life here. She was such a loving and caring woman, so kind and generous, loved by all who met her. She was an amazing baba to her Nina and Mikey. She lived for her family. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and making cookies with her Nancy. She was a great friend to many.
Anda was an active member of the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church and volunteered at the Serbian Pavilion at Folklorama. She loved to dance Kolo, one of the last things she said was just one more Kolo!
She has impacted so many people’s lives. Losing her has changed our lives forever. Heaven has gained a beautiful Angel! She will be missed by all her family and friends! Too many to name.
Thank you to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital and Concordia Hospital.
Thanks to family and friends who have helped through this difficult time.
Prayers will be said at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. also at Cropo Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Serbian Section of Brookside Cemetery.
