It is with great sadness that the family of Harland “Harley” Mansoff announce his passing on Monday, September 14, 2026 at the age of 39 years.
Harland Frederick Darrell Mansoff was born in Brandon, Manitoba on January 17, 1987. As a child Harley was always exploring his world and was not afraid to try new experiences. He spent many hours with his siblings and cousins creating games and having adventures either around his home or the family cabin at Sandy Lake. Harley loved being at the lake as there was always something to explore and lots of room to move in. As an adult, the lake was a place of peace and relaxation for him. Harley was a kind, sensitive person who was very loyal to those he considered friends. Once you saw his mischievous smile, you wanted to get to know him better. He leaves behind stories, laughter, memories and many people who will miss him as a presence in their lives.
Harley was educated in Brandon attending Linden Lanes and Vincent Massey schools and graduating with his grade 12 from the Adult Learning Center. Harley continued his education through the work he did and learning the details needed to complete his jobs.
Harley held many jobs in life such as setting traps for his great-grandfather at the Brandon Gun Club, catering at the Keystone Center, stock clerk, cooking for Mitch’s Monster Dogs before settling in and working in the family business, Mansoff Brothers Ltd, as a mechanic. He enjoyed working alongside his dad carrying on the family tradition.
Harley also had a variety of interests including drawing, playing music, curling, bowling, demo derbys, restoring cars and trapshooting.
Harley is survived by his father Darrell; stepmother Sharon Bridal; brother Travis (Michelle); sister Lindsay (Devin); nieces, Denver, Korie, Annabelle; and many family members and friends who were fortunate to share a piece of his life.
Harley was predeceased by his mother Cheryl and grandparents, Jim and Iris Mansoff and Doris and Murray Moore.
A Celebration of Harley’s Life will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026 at the Royal Canadian Legion, 560-13th Street East at 2:00 pm. All are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
