Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD DYMONT
It is with sadness that the family of Donald Dymont announces his peaceful passing on September 14, 2026.
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He leaves to mourn his devoted wife of 61 years, Edna; his sons, Brent "Bubba" and Don Jr.; daughter-in-law Deborah; and his beloved grandchildren, Chase, Austin and Brandon, who lovingly knew him as "Gege". He is also survived by his younger brother William and was predeceased by his brother Bob.
Don spent much of his working life with Winnipeg Transit, a job he genuinely enjoyed and one that reflected how much he liked people and took pride in providing for his family.
Some of his happiest times were spent at "The Lake" in Winnipeg Beach with family, enjoying his model trains, and travelling to visit his children and grandchildren. He was immensely proud of his family and their accomplishments, and his love for them was always evident.
Don will be remembered for his warm smile, his kindness and the simple way he always made a point of saying "thank you".
Be sad for a moment, but then smile when you think of him and remember the many good years, memories and moments shared together.
Cremation will take place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with details to follow.
If desired, donations may be made in Don’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
