At the age of 92, on September 13, 2026, Robert passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Grace Hospital.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather.
Robert was predeceased by his wife Vivian (Minton) and his father John Morton and mother Annie (Gillan). He is survived by his sister Helen Strang (Richard) of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and children, Linda Hoban (Daniel) from Calgary, Bob (Jillian), Peter, Brian (Colleen), Michael (Jocelyn) from Winnipeg; along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Dad was never one to stand on ceremony, so there will not be a service.
A donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by family.
