Thank you to God for all his blessings, making my journey on Earth so pleasant. Thank you to my husband Frank (deceased, December 25, 2014) for putting up with me for 64 years. Thank you to our five amazing children, their mates, and also their descendants, who spoiled me, and who were all my reason for living. Thank you, Rick (Jonelle Simms), Peggy (Clay Ingram, deceased), Vivian (Bob Beckel), Greg (Burnadee Kindzierski), Vince (Reta Kroken), six wonderful grandchildren, six lovely great-grandchildren, numerous living nieces and nephews, friends at Edgewood Estates, Good Neighbours and many other very special friends.
Thank you, Dr. A. Sequeira, and the staff at Henderson Medical Centre for their excellent care and kindness. Thank you also to the amazing staff in the St. Boniface Cardiology 5A Unit for all the compassionate care I received and for making the last weeks of my journey as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Thank you everyone. Love you all.
A Celebration of Rita’s life will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday October 2, 2026 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd, Winnipeg, MB.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Good Neighbours Active Living Centre, 720 Henderson Hwy, Winnipeg, MB R2K 0Z5.
