JEANNETTE BEAL
After a brief illness, Jeannette passed away suddenly August 30, 2026 in Weyburn.
Jeannette will be remembered by her children, Barbara, James (Stacey), Wesley (Karen) and her grandchildren, Erica (Broadie), Jonathan, Joseph (Ruth), James, Jennica, Damon (Danielle), Jacob and Eric; great-grandchildren, Clara, Oliver and Octavia; brothers, Rick (Brenda), Ron (Cindy), Raymond and sister Sharon Gagnon; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Jeannette was predeceased by her parents, Lucien and Gabrielle and brothers, Roger (Betty), Robert and Rodney Gagnon.
Jeannette was born and raised in Fort Garry and after graduating from Vincent Massey, she married and moved to Regina to raise her family spending summers at the lake or winters at the rink or bowling alleys. Jeannette moved back home to Winnipeg and Fort Garry in 1977 where her love of sports such as archery, shooting, fishing and coaching continued.
In her later years, Jeannette was a caregiver for her mother and sister. In 2025 Jeannette moved to Weyburn to be closer to her family.
A celebration of Jeannette’s life will be held Sunday September 20 at 2:00 pm at Glen Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd.
As per Jeannette’s wishes, she was cremated and will be laid to rest with her parents at Glen Lawn Cemetery privately at a later date.
For family and friends wishing, charitable donations in memory of Jeannette may be made to Canadian Mental Health Association (cmha.ca).
