Elsie Unick passed away peacefully at the Beausejour Health Centre on September 17, 2026, at the age of 98, with family by her side, along with her strong faith in the Bible promise of a resurrection here on earth; she never doubted or feared what would happen after death.
She is predeceased by her husband Walter Unick who passed away suddenly at the age of 49. She was left to raise their seven children: Diane (Don) Matheson, Barry (Isabelle) Unick, Donna (Peter) Grzegorzewski, Kenneth (Debbie) Unick, Deborah (Doug) Mihalyk, Ronald (Diane) Unick, and Vincent (Cindy) Unick.
Along with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, she will be dearly missed.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal service, instead an immediate family graveside memorial will take place at a later date.

Unicks lived a quarter mile from us on Lorne Hill Road. When a youngster, used to play with Barry, Bill Hudyma and Bob Rushick. So we were in Mrs. Unicks kitchen a few times!
