Peacefully, on September 20, 2026, Douglas, beloved husband of Stephanie, passed away at the age of 65 years.
Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.

I grew up with the brothers Doug and Pete in the Pulberry neighborhood of St Vital where we attended Hastings elementary, Junior High, and Dakota Collegiate. Enormous amounts of time were spent together, whether playing games, creating python-esque school assignments, or our combined early efforts at musical enterprise. (A nod here to our rehearsals using the soundstage at Hastings and the twins and I hauling comically heavy gear back and forth). Those were special times indeed. It is with a heavy heart that I reflect on Doug's passing; the loss of the laughter, wit, and kindness that were cornerstones of his lifetime. I send my heartfelt empathy to the family, and a special remembrance to my friend Pete who must be awash in countless memories of the of his twin brother.
