Dennis was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Marie, sister Doris, brothers Ed, Bill, Harry, and Jim.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Linda and nieces Angie (Mike - daughters Eve, Rowan and Rylee), Lorrie (Kevin - daughters Hannah and Kelsey), and Sharon (son Jayden), sister Alice Pury in BC, several nieces and nephews, and sons Russel and Clinton, as well as special family friends Darlene Kuryluk and New York friend Diana Browne.
He was raised on a farm near Plum Coulee, Manitoba and later moved to Winkler, Manitoba.
Dennis was an avid hockey player with the Winkler team and best friend Warren Browne.
Dennis married, had two sons, Russel (Mistie - children Melodie and Rockwell and granddaughter Amora) and Clinton.
Dennis earned a 3rd degree black belt in Isshinryu Karate. He was an award winner and at one point ran his own Dojo to train others in the discipline.
Dennis later met Linda on his 49th birthday, October 30, 1992 and they were instant matches, both loving to sing. Dennis played guitar, taught Linda to play the bass guitar and over the years made several albums. Their band was The Nice’n Easy Band. There were many fun filled jam nights in their basement.
Dennis and Linda married on December 2, 2000 and built a happy, fulfilling life together. Dennis fit well into Linda’s family of nieces and nephews. Dennis loved all the laughter when everyone got together.
Dennis was an excellent and super caring husband to his soulmate Linda.
Cremation has taken place. As per Dennis’ wishes there will be a private family graveside service.

Dennis, aged 83, will always be in the heart of his wife Linda. Left to mourn is his sister Alice Pury in BC and several nieces and nephews, and his sons, Russel and Clinton.
