Mabel Friesen gracefully let go of this life on September 28, 2026, at Pembina Place Personal Care Home.
Mabel was predeceased by her dear husband Ike in 2001; her parents, Aron and Helen Thiessen; sisters, Dorothy and Margaret; brothers, John and Harry; and many in-laws. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Robert (Penny) Friesen, Donald (Christine) Friesen, Peggy (Robert) Martens, and Florence Friesen; nine grandchildren; and 18 great- grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held for Mabel on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church, 465 Stafford Street, Winnipeg.
