JOHN BROWN
Peacefully, with family at his side, John Brown passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 94 years.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held November 8, 2026 at Windsor Community Centre, 99 Springside Drive between the hours of 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm with a short tribute at 2:30.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John’s name to Golden Links Lodge.

I was John and Judy's neighbor at Perch Bay for a number of years and before that spared in their bridge club. I think John made the best camp fires ever and he loved to have others sit around it and just chat. I am sure that if there are blueberries in heaven John will find them and Judy will make the greatest pie from his pickings. I send my condolences to all the Browns family. John was a friend for several years. The men curled in the men's league and we curled in the mixed with both John and Judy. We had many good times at the lake in Kenora. John was a great friend, husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed and has now gone to be with Judy again. John and I met when we were both members of the Manitoba Review Board. We served together on that Board for many years. I will always remember John as a fair and conscientious Chair.
