It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Hubert Guillaume David Gronenschild on September 28, 2026 at the age of 85 years old.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Ruth Ann Gronenschild; his children, Heather Janzen (Dan Thera), Gail Munn (Greg), Sandra Lamoureux (Vincent), Sherry McLaren (Robert), Shannon McCorry (Jim); grandchildren, Kristal-Lyn Phillips, Erika Gronenschild (Michael Touchette), David Gronenschild, Layna Berard (Geoff), Stephanie Jones, Whitley Janzen, Kayla Ducharme, Gareth Jones, Tanner Lamoureux (Michelline Hayma), Alyssa Ducharme and Zachary Munn; great-grandchildren, Noah, Spencer, Connor, Malakhi, Aubrey, Claire, Aaliyah, Hunter, Henry, Hayden and Natalia and sister Elsie Gronenschild.
Hubert was predeceased by his parents, Gustave and Dorothy Gronenschild; sisters, Dolores Brogden (Gordon) and Joyce Huston and granddaughter Catherine Jones.
A Private Family Funeral service will be held at Green Acres Funeral home and Cemetery. Family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to all the Ste. Anne homecare nurses that helped take care of our loved one and made his final wish of dying peacefully at home possible.
