Condolences & Memories (13 entries)

  • I just found out you’re gone… I just want to say what a lovely person you were to me and how saddened I am that you’re gone. Far to young… Nadine was always very understanding of my wants and needs. She never pressured me to financially take any risks I didn’t want to do and I loved her for that! She had so much sympathy and shared just enough to show me we were kindred spirits. She is a sweet soul that will be missed - Posted by: Michelle Rudachek (Client) on: Oct 26, 2026

  • We were so sorry to hear about the passing of Nadine. Our deepest condolences go out to her family during this difficult time. For over 20 years, we have had the opportunity to be Nadine’s next-door neighbours. She had such a pure heart, filled with so much love and kindness. She was always so thoughtful and generous towards us, often sharing her fruits and vegetables with our family. We will always remember her kind heart, generosity, and the many thoughtful moments we shared as neighbours. She will be deeply missed. Sending our thoughts and prayers to the family. - Posted by: The Ayele Family (Neighbour) on: Oct 07, 2026

  • We grew up on Speers Road and my mom was best friends with Rose-Marie. We spent so much time together growing up and had many weekends at Grand Beach together. Nadine was such a kind human. • Dear Joseph, Michel, and family, My condolences to you all on Nadine's unexpected passing at a young age. I met Nadine in the mid 80's while serving as assistant pastor at Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens Parish. Her kind, jovial spirit was a great gift to her family, and she shared it with many others throughout her adult life. I will always remember her presence with Joseph and Mitch when I was asked to administer the Sacrament of the Sick to her mother, RoseMarie, who was very ill in the hospital at that time. Nadine's presence, prayers and tears beside her Mom were truly helpful and healing. You are a special family and are very much appreciated for your kindness Again, my sincere condolences and prayers. Peace, Father Robb - Posted by: Rev. Father Robert McDougall (friend) on: Oct 05, 2026

  • There is an absence at work that can’t be filled. Nadine’s kindness and care for others was evident in Nadines day to day interactions with colleagues and clients. I looked forward to her stories and check-ins. Every time she was able to help a client she would tell you the story and you could feel the joy it brought her. Now looking back I wish I didn’t have to rush those stories to get my work done. I wish I could hear her stories again. Nadine loved animals. If there was a dog anywhere around our building she would sure be petting it and talking to the owners. She loved her Metis heritage and would represent through her commitment to different causes and her beautiful Ribbon dresses. She loved her family. Her lunches she would often by on the phone checking in on her dad. She would talk about the plans they had and the food they would share. Nadine as your soul rests your memory will continue here. - Posted by: Tanya (Friend) on: Oct 03, 2026

  • Words cannot express adequately how one feels at a time like this, taken far too young. There are many memories, I will remember more recently the couple of times we went for lunch on her break, and the times she did the Tim's drive thru on the way to work, saw me sitting inside, came in and hugged me from behind "Hi auntie". She will be missed. Joe, Michel and Cyp find peace in knowing she is with loved ones. - Posted by: Tahirih Roy (Aunt) on: Oct 03, 2026

  • Nadine, my beautiful friend with the long red hair. I should write a song about you. In the short time I knew you, I knew you were a kindred spirit and I loved you so much. Thank you for your friendship, your honesty, your humility, your encouragement, for all the laughter, for all the tears and all the big hugs we both needed. You loved so hard, and yet life could be so cruel and unkind in return but that didn’t stop you from still being an incredible human being. You were the most loving fur baby mama to Sunny & Mackenzie. Even when Sunny was ripping apart the house as a puppy. You loved your family so much. I loved hearing about the adventures you & your dad would have, the wonderful culinary concoctions you would make, and the fun gifts you would get for him. It was a labor of love cooking for your family making so many incredible special holiday meals. You often spoke fondly of your brother Mitch and niece. We only worked together for a few years at RBC Sage Creek but during that time you generated incredible respect from the team as a mentor, the second in command who offered great guidance and support when needed on the front line or behind the scenes, you always had an open door. None of us can believe you’re gone. I’ll miss you my dear friend and hope wherever you are in this vast universe that we’ll connect again. - Posted by: Leanne Boyko (Friend) on: Oct 03, 2026

  • I am so sorry to hear of Nadine’s passing. My condolences to her family. I knew Nadine from working with her at one of the first call centres in Winnipeg, Faneuil, 35 years ago. We were a part of first employees there and had so much fun working together working. Nadine was a wonderful person and a pleasure to work with. She will be remembered fondly by her colleagues. - Posted by: Bonnie Squires (Friend) on: Oct 03, 2026
