Surrounded by his family, Edmond passed away peacefully on October 1st, 2026, at the age of 92.
Edmond is survived by his four children, Cécile Plante, Louise Beaudoin (Henri), Claude (Thérèse), and Yvette; 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; his sister Marguerite Foubert; six brothers, Louis, Laurent, Armand, Georges, Ludger, and Hubert (Suzanne); and three sisters-in-law, Noellia Jolicoeur, and Lorraine and Louise Normandeau.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Mario and Father Kevin at the Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church in Lorette on Saturday October 10th at 11:00 a.m. Eulogy to begin at 10:30. Interment will take place at Green Acres Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Paul deMoissac for taking care of our father for many years. We would also like to thank the Palliative Care team at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach for providing such excellent care for our family.
Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be sent to the South East Palliative Care Program.
