Jim, 98 years, beloved husband of Beverly Day-Wood and the late Melba Wood, father of James (Digna), Doug (Laurie), Melanie (Todd) and Michelle (Wade). Jim passed away in the Brandon Regional Health Centre on October 6, 2026.
A funeral service will be held at the Knox United Church, 451-18th Street, Brandon, Manitoba, on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 12:50 p.m. sharp. Interment in the Riverside Cemetery, Hartney, Manitoba.
In memory of Jim, donations may be made to a Cancer charity of your choice.

Rest well. For all the great memories our Families had together. Uncle Jimmy was always full of fun and a great story teller. Never a dull moment! I always remember the fish tank full of Angel Fish, out on the water in Killarney, skiing. Uncle Jimmy had a big personality, very respected and an honorable gentleman. Thanks for being you!
