ISABELLA ANNE STEWART

(nee SUTHERLAND)

August 26, 1938 - September 16, 2026

Isabel, dearly loved, wife, mother, and grandmother – passed away at Meadowood Manor after a lengthy battle with dementia.

Isabel was born and raised in Kenora, Ontario. After high school she entered the Winnipeg General Hospital (HSC) School of Nursing. She graduated in 1960 and worked there briefly. After her marriage in 1961, she devoted herself to family – including caring for her mother, who had health concerns, and came to live with our family.

Left to cherish her memory are husband Graham; daughters, Sandy (Andrew), Heather (Dwayne) and Rhonda (Marcel). Also missing her are her grandchildren, Afton, Ethan (Brianne), Hughie (Emma), Jacques (Karam), Samuel (Alexa) and Annabelle (Mitch).

Isabel was predeceased by her parents, John and Lillian Sutherland; brother Allan Sutherland; and brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Iona Stewart.

Our family wishes to convey special thanks to the staff at Meadowood Manor for the kind care and attention given to Isabel during her time there.

A Celebration of Isabella’s Life will be held Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Winnipeg, MB.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Meadowood Manor or a charity of your choice.
