Irvin passed away on September 19, 2026, at age 68, with his family by his side. Born in Winnipeg, he was a locomotive engineer with CN, where friends knew him as "Teflon."
He is survived by his wife Shauna; mother Nelly; father Dave (Marianne); mother-in-law Cathy; and many family and friends. He was predeceased by his sisters, Linda and Wendy.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 11:00 am at Canad Inns Transcona, 826 Regent Avenue W. (Annex Room).
