TOMISLAV GRIVICIC

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, Tomislav Grivicic on October 9, 2026.

Left to forever cherish his memory are his wife Bozica; son Roman (Katica); daughter Suzana (Thomas); and grandsons, Mathew, Michael, Eric, Lucas and Sean. He will also be remembered by his brother Josip and family and many nieces, nephews and friends in Canada and Croatia. Tomislav was predeceased by his parents, Ana and Milan; brothers, Ante, Ivan, Petar, Stipe and Milan and sisters, Mare and Anka.

Tomislav was born in Perusic, Lika, Croatia on February 27, 1942. Tomislav and Bozica married on December 23, 1961 and immigrated with their son Roman to Winnipeg on October 3, 1967. They welcomed daughter Suzana a few years later. Tomislav was a plumber by trade and took great pride in his work. For him, there was no place like home and was happiest spending time with his family and cheering on his grandsons at their sporting events. There wasn’t a person he couldn’t make laugh or smile.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 16, 2026 at St. Nicholas Tavelich Roman Catholic Church, 2688 Main Street. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB.
