It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Patrick O'Callaghan on September 20, 2026, at the age of 77, in Calgary, Alberta.
Brian was born June 4, 1949, in Trochu, Alberta. He served as a firefighter for part of his career and went on to own and operate a sign printing shop in Chilliwack, BC. He later made Calgary his home, where he spent his later years. He spent many years with his wife Judy O'Callaghan who called him husband and best friend.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Evelyn and Diane. Brian is survived by his wife Judy; and brothers, Don and Dan; his son Colin; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Brian will be remembered for his straightforward approach to life, and his sense of humour. He will be memorialized through the stories of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
At his request, his body has been donated to the medical school at the University of Calgary.
