Noëlla Aurore Marie Lafond passed away, with her loved ones by her side, on October 5, 2026, at Grace General Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 76. Born on December 25, 1949, in Morris, Manitoba, Noëlla grew up on the family farm in St. Jean Baptiste and raised her family in La Salle.
She was a loving mother to Daniel (Jaylin) Cormier and Brigitte (Tom) Hildebrand, and a proud grandmother to Jaydan (Melayna Drozd) Cormier, Jesse Hildebrand, Braydan Cormier, Nolan Hildebrand, and Ajay Hildebrand.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 2:30 pm at Kingswood Golf and Country Club in La Salle, Manitoba. A private inurnment will take place at the St. Jean Baptiste parish cemetery.
