Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH CAMERON
On Sunday October 4, 2026, following a brief illness, Kenneth Cameron (Esq) left this world for a better place. Ken was a proud grandfather to Alisdair and Lochlan, father to Carolyn and Iain, and father-in-law to Duane. He was predeceased by his wife Margo, sister Joan, parents, Kate and John and many cherished friends.
Ken was born on December 6, 1936 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Ken grew up in Fort Rouge where he attended Gordon Bell High School, United College and put himself through The University of Manitoba Law School. Friends he met here lasted a lifetime.
Ken loved the time he spent at Victoria Beach with Margo and the kids where he golfed with friends, played softball, and visited with friends. In later years, he enjoyed spending several weeks a year with his grandsons, Allisdair and Lochlan. He sang with the Caledonian singers, was involved with the Scottish pavilion and was on the Board of the United Scottish Association.
We want to give our heartfelt thanks to the urgent care staff and all of the team on the 4th floor at Victoria Hospital who were so kind to Kenneth, and to the family. A special shout out to Dr. Kiu who worked diligently to help Ken while showing empathy, kindness and professionalism.
Kenneth lived his life based on the bedrock principles of fairness, compassion and kindness. He viewed strangers as friends he had not yet had the good fortune to meet.
There will be no service as per Ken’s wishes. Instead, we ask that you remember our dad by performing a simple act of kindness or friendship. He would have appreciated it. ” How’s it going Ken?” “It’s going but you have to push it.” Thanks for the push, Dad and Gramps. Rest in Peace. Love you always. Tha Gaol Agam Ort.

Ken was a great singing partner with the Caledonian Singers. it was Margo though that brought me to Winnipeg after meeting her one summer at Chateau Lake Louise. Ken was a good friend to have and a good listener if ever you had a problem. He will be missed. - Posted by: Bill Hawke (Friend from the Caledonian Singers) on: Oct 18, 2026

Reflecting on having had the privilege to work for Ken and remembering how he treated us all with respect, compassion and fairness every day. He never missed on opportunity to let us know he appreciated us all equally. We appropriately named our office ‘K C and the Sunshine Band’. It was a wonderful time to be part of his team! Grateful for so many happy memories of a workplace that valued people! - Posted by: Susan Rusk (Friend) on: Oct 18, 2026
