HENRY GUENTHER
Suddenly at home, in the arms of his loving wife, our dear husband, father, and grandfather, Henry, went to be with his Lord.
Dad was born on October 14th, 1934, in Nieder Chortitza, Ukraine. He was predeceased by his parents, Isaak and Anna (nee Penner); son Harold; sister Mary Loewen; and brothers-in-law, Walter Bergen and Henry Loewen.
Henry is survived by his wife Rita of 65 years; son John (Helen); and grandchildren, Joshua and Bethany; and sister Annie Bergen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church, 926 Garfield Street, Winnipeg, with viewing starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at the Sargent Avenue Cemetery, Springstein, MB. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Mennonite Central Committee.
