It is with sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Wayne on October 13, 2026 at the age of 72 years.
Wayne will be forever remembered by his daughters, Vicki Taras and Brandi (Chris) Kempan, their mother Debbie Taras; grandchildren, Tristan, Kaleb, Caitlin and Connor. He is also survived by his sisters, Jessie Taras and Theresa Zabowski.
A very casual celebration of Wayne's life will be Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Seasons Funeral Chapel, 576 Balsam Crescent in OakBank. Please drop in anytime between 11:00 am to 2:00 pm to visit with family and share your memories of Wayne.

My condolences to the Taras Family in your loss. Me and Wayne went back many years. We both attended Grades 1 to 3 at Sunnyside School at corner of pr206 and Garven rd. We didn't see much of each other when we moved to winnipeg, but whenever we met he had a huge smile. I sometimes called him for good advice regarding any kind of excavating.
