It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Joseph Jones, aged 85, on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Donwood Manor in Winnipeg.
Born on October 20, 1940, in St. George’s, Grenada to Albert Jones and Fanny Bernard, Joseph was raised in Marabella, Trinidad and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1967. Joseph worked as a cabinet maker for Display Fixtures until he retired in 2005. A faithful servant of Christ, his life was defined by his unwavering devotion to his family. Joseph’s legacy of resilience, gentleness, humour, and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, and four brothers.
Joseph is survived by his wife Enid; two daughters, Donna and Debbie; five grandchildren; and two sisters; along with many other family members.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Temple, in the Buntain Chapel, 440 Hargrave Street, Winnipeg.
