SARA THIESSEN
Sara Thiessen, nee Schroeder, was born on March 14, 1924, to Peter and Aganetha (Buhler) Schroeder, near Lowe Farm, Manitoba.
Sara was married to Henry on Nov. 11, 1945, and lived on 2nd St in Morden till 2008. They then moved to 10th St until Henry's passing in 2016.
Sara moved to Homestead in 2018. In 2020 she moved to Tabor where she lived until her passing in 2026.
Sara was very involved in the EMMC Church. She and Henry also were involved with supporting many missionaries. A favorite Bible verse of hers was James 5:15 - "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much."
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Wiebe Funeral Chapel in Morden. Followed by the burial at the Glencross Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sara may be made to Union Gospel Mission in Winnipeg.
