Adele (Omi) passed away peacefully on October 24, 2026, at the Poseidon Care Home. Adele was predeceased by her husband, Christian; her daughter, Edie; son-in-law, Glenn and daughter-in-law, Lynn. Left to mourn are her son, Wolfgang and daughter, Ute Katynski (John); grandsons, David (Michelle) and Greg (Kaori); granddaughter, Amber Lindberg (Kerry) and a number of great-grandchildren, Luna, Hibiki, Meg and Joe.
Adele was born in Romania and moved to Germany and then emigrated to Canada in 1961. Adele developed severe dementia in the last two years.
Funeral service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow.
