Beloved mother, sister and aunt Mary Alison Brandt, fought a heroic battle against cancer and left this world to enter peacefully into the next, at her home on October 16, 2026.
Alison (b. August 4, 1979), was a loving and dedicated mother to her four beautiful daughters, each of whom carry her kind heart and adventurous spirit. She lived an exciting life, with an Interior Design career spanning two decades. She created luxury spaces in Toronto, Vancouver and the Middle East, and founded her namesake company, Studio Brandt, in 2021. She had a magnetic personality and a huge heart, and will be eternally missed by her family and friends.
Alison is survived by her children, Hannah (9), Amea (4), Hazel (2), step-daughter Matilda (4), her sister Lisa Garcia-Rivera (Javier) and her brother Jesse Labossiere (Mira). She is preceded in death by her father, Les Brandt, who passed away in 2025.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 27, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at Trail Hub in Uxbridge, ON. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a gofundme for Hannah’s future: bit.ly/hannahsvillage
