It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Lorraine on October 26, 2026, at the age of 80, at Golden West Centennial Lodge. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Gord; sons, Brock and Sean (Teresa); brother, Trevor Holland (Christine); grandchildren, Joey and Megan; sisters-in-law, Debbie Johnson (Bruce) and Shirlie Lochert; her nieces and nephews, Jason, Colin (Martha), Bryan, Andrew, Wes (Michelle), Lynn (Matt), and Jess (Matt); and her great-nieces and nephews who brought her endless joy.
Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, Trevor and Alice; her sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and George Robertson; her nephew, Jayson Robertson; and her cherished Uncle Ted Barfoot.
A private family service will be held.
Special thanks to the staff at Golden West Centennial Lodge and the many homecare professionals from the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter, Golden West Centennial Lodge, Health Sciences Centre Winnipeg Children’s Hospital or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba are appreciated.
