Myralene (Myrna) Joyce Loewen (née Goossen) passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2026, in Oakbank, Manitoba, at the age of 89.
Throughout her life, Myrna was a social butterfly. Her calendar was always full - playing cards, bowling, car club, camping, gardening, shopping, or cheering on the Winnipeg Jets. She never missed a beat! Best of all, she shared every bit of it with family and friends.
Myrna will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Cheryl (Brian) Luchka; son Glen Jr. (Kelly); grandchildren, Lyndsay (Gabe), Evan (Kristina), Lauren, Karlene (Zach), Cody (Jess), and Wyatt (Sarah); great-grandchildren, Anna, Henry, Lukas, Natalie, Brooks, and Elle; brother Rick (Erika); and nephew Matt.
She was predeceased by her parents, Sadie and George; husband Glen; daughter Audrey; and son Bruce.
A celebration of Myrna’s life will be held at Seasons Funeral Chapel, 576 Balsam Crescent in Oakbank on Monday, November 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
