It is with great shock and sadness, to announce the passing of Kathy.
Survived by husband Michael; son Michael (Kate); two grandchildren; brother David (Patricia).
Kathy was born and raised in Winnipeg's River Heights, attending Kelvin High School. She worked for the City of Winnipeg for a 30 plus year career through multiple roles. During that career she met Michael, and they were married in 1976. Kathy with Mike moved into North Kildonan where they welcomed their son Michael.
Despite being raised in Winnipeg, Kathy grew up at Ottermere at the family's beloved cabin. Countless hours spent in, on, or around the water or just soaking everything in on the veranda. She loved people, travel, swimming, cooking/baking, playing board/card games, LEGO, and most of all, her grandsons.
Kathy will be missed greatly by her family, extended family, friends, coworkers, and anyone who met her along the way.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Diabetes or Canadian Cancer Society.
Service on November 12, 2026, 2:00 p.m., at Green Acres Funeral Home.
