ROBERT PHILIP EDWARD ETCHES Sadly, we announce the sudden death of Bob Etches, on Thursday, December 9, 2004, at the Victoria General Hospital, at the age of 70 years. Remaining to cherish his memory are his brother Greg Etches; son Mike Etches; and Bob's companions, Louie, Yum-Yum, Sammy, Emma and Peggy Sue. Bob was predeceased by his father Philip Etches and mother Alyson Etches-Hardy. As a breeder of Chow Chow dogs, Bob was well known as the Chow Man of Winnipeg. Bob will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and most especially his dogs. A non-denominational memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, December 16 at 7:30 p.m. in Fort Garry Mennonite Fellowship, 150 Bayridge Ave. The family would like to thank his friends and neighbours who have been so very kind. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Spay and Neuter Clinic, 10-H Keenleyside St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 2B9, in aid of Bob's dogs' present and future.
