DONNA HIEBERT It is with much sorrow and great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our daughter, wife and mother, Donna Hiebert, who passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2004 at the St. Boniface General Hospital. Donna was born August 17, 1956 in Gilbert Plains, MB. She married Ed Hiebert on February 26, 1978. In the last two years, she was studying to become a certified genealogist. She was eight months short of completing this certification. Donna will lovingly be remembered by her husband Ed; daughter Crystal (Jason), grandson Braiden; mother Betty Barker; brother Blaine (Helen), Amanda, Melinda, Jeremy. Donna also leaves behind eight stepchildren and spouses; 19 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Donna was predeceased by her father Robert Barker in 2003. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Boniface S.I.C.U. for their wonderful care during Donna's stay at the hospital. Funeral service will be held at the Russell Alliance Church, Russell, MB on Thursday, December 16 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors Dale and Marlowe Hiebert officiating. Interment will follow in the Russell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be deeply appreciated.
