FRANK TIZZARD May flights of angels bring thee to thy rest On Tuesday, August 3, 1999 at the Victoria General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer, Frank died peacefully at the age of 64 years. Frank is survived by his wife Anne and his only son Ian of Winnipeg; his mother Mary and sister-in-law Ruby of St. Johns and his brother Baxter (May) of Gander and Annes family, the Dunphys of Newfoundland. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in memory of Frank on Friday, August 6 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Highway, with Rev. Dr. Patrick Morand, Celebrant. Mass will terminate in church. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Franks memory to the Canadian Cancer Society (Manitoba Division), 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 2B7. Sincere thanks to Father Morand for the spiritual guidance given to Frank while in hospital; as well to Dr. Roland Hayward, the dedicated staff at Victoria General Hospital, co-workers at Kleysen Transport, who were special to Frank and the numerous friends whose support and compassion will always be remembered.
