JAN BOTH March 4, 1921 - September 7, 1999 After a lengthy illness it is with our deep sorrow to announce the passing of our beloved Dad, Opa and Great Grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his sons Jon and wife Yvonna and Harry and wife Jo-Anne. Grandchildren Cassandra, Amber, Mandy and Michael and spouses and his beloved great grandchildren in which he took so much joy, Derek, Austin, Brandon, Tryston "Sky", Shawntel and Lizanne. He also will be missed by many relatives in Norway, sister Marie in Holland and sister Johanna in Germany and their families. Dad was predeceased by his beloved wife Tordis Signora "Lille-Mor" nee Falck, mother Niesje, Brother Andries and one sister Adriana. Jan and Lille-mor emigrated with their sons from the Netherlands to Canada in 1958. He was employed for many years at Canadian Rogers (Western) as a sheetmetal worker, also at Dominion Bridge, Bridge and Tank as a template layout designer, he was employed until retiring at Watson Iron as Plant Superintendent. He was a second class engineer in the Merchant Marines sailing the seven seas prior to getting married on November 11, 1944 in Tromso, Norway to our loving mother. May your last journey take you back to your beloved Lille-Mor, we all love you and will miss you very, very much. XOXOXO. Services will take place Saturday, September 11 at 1:00 p.m. at the Neil Bardal Funeral Chapel on Aubrey Street just off Portage Avenue. After the service a luncheon will be held at The Deli-Shop in Unit 8-360 Keewatin Ave. If friends wish to send flowers, they may do so. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200.
