SYLVIA JUNE HILL nee (KNEESHAW) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dearly loved Sylvia on Friday, September 3, 1999 in her 62nd year. Sylvia was born on June 8, 1938 in Winnipeg. She leaves to mourn her husband Bob of 39 years; son Stephen (Burnadette) daughter Aynsley; grandson Matthew; brother Michael and his wife Nancy; mother-in-law Margarite; sisters-in-law, Marilyne Saunders, Peggy Friesen; brothers-in-law, Sam (Rita), John (Audrey), and many nephews and nieces. Sylvia loved to travel and was looking forward to going to see her long awaited grandson in Nanaimo in November. She loved to organize events and was very active in Girl Guides. She was a Leader, Trainer, District Commissioner and at the time of her death helping in fundraisers and a member of the TreFoil Guild. Flowers are gratefully declined. However, should friends so desire, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and Reception to follow.
