Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA REGEHR (nee WALL) On September 4, 1999, Anna Regehr passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital. She is with her Saviour in Eternal glory. Born in the Crimea, Ukraine in 1908, she came to Canada with her daughter in 1947. She made her home in Winnipeg and worked for many years as housekeeper for H.R. Eade. In 1967 she married Jacob Regehr. They were a happy and outgoing couple. With their many friends they enjoyed nineteen wonderful years together. Mom took a great interest in her now large family, she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Everyone enjoyed visiting with her. Mom was a devoted Christian who loved her North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church and was very supportive of her pastor. Mother was predeceased by her first husband, Gerhard Braun and her late husband Jacob Regehr; her sisters and brothers. She leaves to mourn one son Eugene Regehr; daughters, Olga Klassen (John), Anne Dyck (Frank), Mary Dueck (Henry), Irene Unger (Herm), Lorraine Harms (Charles) 23 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; many relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 8 at 10:30 a.m. at McIvor Avenue Mennonite Brethren Church, 200 McIvor Ave. with Rev. Helmut Kasdorf and Rev. John Epp officiating. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Viewing on Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:15 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. and at the church prior to the service. If friends so desire, donations may be made to MB Communications or to Mennonite Central Committee. A big thank you to all who gave care to Mother; the doctors, nurses and the Palliative Care Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
