MARY SEMOTIUK (nee FAYOWSKI) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Thursday, September 2, 1999 at the Health Sciences Centre. Mary was born on September 7, 1920 in Hodgson, MB. She grew up on a farm just outside of Fisher Branch, MB. While working in Winnipeg, she met and married Michael. Together they made a life in Winnipeg and raised five children. Her life was caring for and raising her children and later in life her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her house was always full of children, laughter and love. Her door was always open to whomever dropped by, where a meal and open ear could always be had. Mary will be deeply missed and mourned by her son John and wife Ruth; her daughters, Irene and husband Bob, Joy and husband Bob, Janet and husband Glen, Shirley and husband Bob; her grandchildren, David, Kim, Maureen, Guy, Mara, Dana, Laura and great-grandchildren Steve and Jacob. She will also be missed by relatives, friends and neighbours. Mary was predeceased by her husband Michael on July 6, 1998. The family would like to thank Dr. Phillips for the compassionate and understanding way he helped us through this difficult time and all the nursing staff on the 7th floor, MICU at Health Sciences Centre. Funeral service will take place in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Tuesday, September 7 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marys memory may be made to the Salvation Army. Mom, you are now reunited with Dad, and together again you will continue to watch over us. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
