MABEL CRERAR (nee Sutherland) Peacefully, September 5, 1999 at the Deer Lodge Centre, Mabels bright and generous spirit left us and moved on to another realm. Mabel was predeceased by husband Harvey and son Keith. She will be missed and deeply mourned by daughter Karen Burgoyne (Peter) son Jack (Maureen), son Randy (Janice) daughter-in-law Helen; grandchildren Matthew, Jonathan, Trevor, Jennifer, Shelley, Kelly, Debbie; great-grandson Christopher; sisters, Shirley Wickstrom, Florence McLean and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mabels positive happy nature and unconditional love and kindness blessed many throughout her life. Whatever challenges she faced in life Mabel did so with a strong faith, wonderful sense of humor, and great strength of character. A special thank you to all our family and friends for the support and love throughout the years our mother lived with Alzheimers Disease. We owe so very much to the staff of T3 Deer Lodge Centre. They have cared for and brought our mother joy and contentment during the past 11 years. A special group of people who deserve all the blessings and peace God can bestow. Service of Remembrance will be held Saturday, September 11, at 11:00 a.m. at St. James United Church, 234 Parkview Street with Rev. Don McIntyre and Rev. Pat Wotton officiating. Interment will be at St. Georges Wakefield Anglican Church, Clandeboye, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. James United Church Memorial Fund, 234 Parkview St. Wpg. MB. or to the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St. Winnipeg, MB. R3C 4G2. She comes sailing on the wind. Her wings flashing in the sun. On a journey just begun she flies on, and in the passage of her flight, her song rings out through the night. Full of laughter, full of light, she flies on.
