STEVE NAHORNY Suddenly, on Sunday, September 5, 1999 at the Concordia Hospital, Steve Nahorny, beloved husband of Bertina (Bea), passed away at the age of 74 years. Besides his wife, he will be sadly missed by his son Daryl and grandson Steven; son Timothy and daughter-in-law Susan; granddaughter Holly and grandson Tristan, and Brian and Susan; also sister Alga; brother Norman and sister-in-law Helen, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Anton in 1993. Steve worked for the C.N.R. as a trainman conductor for many years. He was a founding member and past president of the Mineral Society of Manitoba, and also past president of the Winnipeg Rock and Mineral Club. An informal celebration of Steves life will be held on Thursday, September 9 at 3:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., with pastor Bruce Gelhorn officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
