Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND LEO ROUGEAU It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Raymond Rougeau on Tuesday, September 7, 1999 at the Grace General Hospital. Raymond will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 47 years, Cecile (nee Furlotte) his four daughters, Pamela Shiels, Darlene Parcels (Blair), Jean OBrien (Rick White) and Julie Halpin (William) seven grandchildren, Kelly, Lisa, Scott, Shawn, Kevin, Sean and Carmel. He was predeceased by his infant daughter Shirley on September 7, 1956. On September 22, 1922, Raymond was born in Sperling, MB. He worked for the St. James School Board for 24 years before he retired in 1988. He enjoyed his summer trips to Calgary to spend time with his daughters and their families. His last trip there was in August for his youngest daughters wedding. Raymond was a very loving, caring, and generous person. He enjoyed talking with his neighbours and walking with his dog, Misty. For those who wish, a visitation will be held (this evening) on Thursday, September 9 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., in the Wojciks Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Ave. at Sharp Blvd. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 10 at 3:00 p.m. in St. Anns Roman Catholic Church, 271 Hampton St., with Rev. Msgr. Ward Jamieson, celebrant. A private family interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Rays memory to the Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8 or the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
