Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryINA C. NORMAN (nee CRERAR) On Monday, September 6, 1999, Ina passed on peacefully at the Swan Valley Personal Care Home. She was 87. Predeceased by her husband of 66 years, J.B. (Vini) in March, she is survived by sons Jack (Val) of Burlington, Ontario, Tom (Pat) of Swan River and daughter Beverley (Don) of Chemainus, B.C.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; her sister Agnes, 93, of Flin Flon; sister-in-law Mary Crerar of Flin Flon and many cherished nieces and nephews. Born near Winnipegosis, Ina spent her early married life on Red Deer Point. They moved to Garland in 1942, Birch River in 1948 and Swan River in 1961. Ina was very active in the Eastern Star where she held all local offices including Past Worthy Matron. She worked tirelessly in her church and community. Ina was a caring and compassionate woman who always put her familys needs ahead of her own. She seemed to thrive on hard work and did plenty of it. Friends and strangers alike were made welcome in her home and all treated with generous hospitality. She was a true homemaker and her cooking and baking skills were appreciated by everyone. She was naturally of a happy disposition and had a good sense of humour. She was deeply loved. Viewing will take place Friday from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the Paull Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrews United Church. Interment at Birchwood Cemetery in Swan River. The services will be officiated by Rev. David Illman-White. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to the St. Andrews United Church Memorial Fund, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
