MARY CATHERINE CAMERON It is with regret that we announce the death of Mary Catherine Cameron on August 28, 1999 at the Grace Hospital. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Hugh and Anne Cameron, originally from Scotland. Also her brothers, John (Jack) and Donald Cameron. She is survived by her sister-in-law Lucille (Lou) Cameron of Marinette, Wisconsin; niece Mary Lou (James) Schlichting of Columbia, South Carolina; great-niece Laura (Chris) Watkins; and great-nephew Mark Schlichting of Atlanta, Georgia. Mary was born and lived all her life in Winnipeg. She was educated in Weston Elementary School and Daniel McIntyre High School. She was employed by the Manitoba Government for most of her working years. She was a 50-year member of the Rebekah Lodge, Miriam Branch. Mary enjoyed the lodge, her many friends there, and the trips she had with other lodge members. She will be remembered by her many friends, for her kindness and her happy outlook on life. Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service held at the Metropolitan Kiwanis Home, 2300 Ness Ave. on Saturday, September 25 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Beth McCutcheon officiating.
