Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES WILLIAM JONES Suddenly on Wednesday, September 8, 1999 at the Victoria General Hospital, Winnipeg, MB, Jim Jones passed away at the age of 72 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Alice and stepchildren, Edwin, Lynda and Allan Sveinson. Jim was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Jones. Jims happy nature and thoughtful ways will be cherished and remembered by his brothers, Jerry and Evan, sisters, Rona, Ethel, Isabel, Marg and Vera. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, and friends. Jim was born at Glenboro, MB and farmed there until 1969 when he married Alice Sveinson and moved to Winnipeg where he worked for Livingston Distribution Centres until his retirement in 1992. Jim had a great love for golf and curling. Cremation has taken place. The family would like you to join them in their final farewell to Jim, as he would want it, at the Baldur Cemetery, Monday, September 13 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Donna Smalley officiating. In celebration of his life, a luncheon will take place at the Glenboro Legion Hall following the interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jims memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 42 McTavish Ave., E., Brandon, MB R7A 2B2.
