GORDON FRANK FOREST Minogeehigan Peacefully on Sunday, September 12, 1999 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Gordon Frank Forest from the Eagle Clan passed away at the age of 29 years. Gordon was born in Winnipeg on July 1, 1970 and had resided in Winnipeg his entire life. Gordon loved making people laugh, treasured music, was a Pow Wow Grass Dancer and a Sacred Fire Keeper. Gordon graduated with a grade 12 diploma and was a very kind hearted man. We will miss Gordon and will have fond memories. He was predeceased by his mother Margaret Ramsay of Hollow Water. He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory Albert and Lucille Forest; two sisters, Kathy and Annette; four brothers, Crewin, Kelvin, Ronald and Kevin and very special friend Winston Gabriel. There are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Wake service will be held on Wednesday, September 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 16 at 10:00 a.m. also at the chapel. Interment to follow at Hollow Water Roman Catholic Cemetery. Special thanks to the St. Boniface Hospital, House of Hesed, friends, Moe, Caroline, Jason, Rodney and Gordon and the Manitoba Aboriginal Aids Task Force for all their kindness and support given to Gordon.
