LEO LISCHYNSKI Peacefully at his residence on September 11, 1999, Leo Lischynski, aged 66 years, of Narol, MB, beloved husband of Rose. Leo was predeceased by his parents Julius and Mary; his infant twin; three brothers, Victor, Michael and Albert and a sister Emily. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 44 years, Rose; children, Ronald, Richard (Liz), Gordon, Valerie and Lori (David) grandchildren, Joshua, Justin, Ashley, Nicole and Jennifer; sisters, Victoria Hayes, Ludwina Rasmussen and Helen Novak; brothers Roy (Elsie) and Adam; sister-in-law Viola Lischynski and numerous other relatives and friends. Leo had been employed at R & W Timber in Northwestern Ontario for 17 years. Prior to retirement he was employed with Regional Logging also in Ontario. Leo could fix just about anything, especially motors and vehicles. He like listening to oldtime Ukrainian music. His pride and joy were his grandchildren and he had nicknames for every one of them. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, September 15 at 8:15 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. also in the chapel with Fr. Jerry Talarski officiating. Interment will follow in the Glen Eden Cemetery. His pallbearers Will be Norman, Richie, Joshua, Ronnie and Roy Lischynski and David Loutit. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
