STUART (STU) FERGUSON It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on September 12, 1999 at the age of 70. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 47 years, Jean; daughters, Janie Penner, Wendy (Phil) Roy, Brenda (Merv) Braun; and son Russell (Debbie) Ferguson; his grandchildren, Sheri and Wayne Penner, Kevin, Chris, Jeff and Sarah Roy, Charlene and Candace Braun and Alexis Ferguson; and his faithful dog Sandy. He is also survived by his brother Bill Ferguson; sisters, Joyce (Frank) Thorne and Shirley (Keith) Nichol; and many nieces and nephews. Stu retired in 1993 after 45 faithful years at Furnasman Heating. His true passion was his cottage at Ingolf, ON which he built in 1959. Special thanks to Dr. Hayward and the nurses of the 3rd floor at the Victoria Hospital for the compassionate care they gave to Dad. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception to follow.
