THOMAS RICHARD HOBBS February 15, 1926 - September 11, 1999 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dad, grandpa, uncle, brother, and nephew Thomas Hobbs on the 11th day of September, 1999 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 73 years. Tom was predeceased by his wife Kathleen of 52 years of marriage. Tom is survived by his sons, Rick, Patrick (Sue-Ann) daughter Sandra (Sandro). Grandchildren, Meggin, Reagan, Kathryn, Ryan, and Devon. Sisters, Lorraine and Shirley; and Aunt Edna. Tom was happiest when at his cottage in the Whiteshell. There he enjoyed many years of fishing, hunting, woodworking, gardening and being with his friends. Special thanks to Vince Warden for all his kindness and help over the past several years. The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the caring staff of D4, especially Marlene, Kim, and Sheila. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 16 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. If friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
