HELEN VERONICA LISKA Helen passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 15, 1999 at the St. Boniface Hospital. She was born on July 11, 1945 in Winnipeg. She is survived by her children, Frank and Shannon, and Helens husband John; sister Carol Mravinec and her husband John and their children, Michael, Chris, Vernon, Jennifer and Frances; brother Peter Karnafel and his children, Paul and Steven, and his wife Cherie; as well as her parents, Stefan and Verona Karnafel; mother-in-law Zuzanna Liska and niece Jaimie Blouin. We will miss her dearly, as will her many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Peter and Anna Futros, Michael and Maria Karnafel; her uncle Mike Futros and sister-in-law Ann Liska. Helen was a teacher in her early adult life. She went on to farm in Ile-des-Chenes, where she enjoyed the beauty of gardening outdoors, and the peace of baking indoors.
